What was the task?
Food is bought often and in small baskets, so the ads have to bring orders for a few dollars each and keep doing it every week. The brand's year also moves with the calendar: Ramadan, Christmas, back to school and the chestnut and cherry seasons each sell different products to different people. The account had to run always-on and seasonal campaigns side by side without one eating the other's budget.
Performance marketing, from strategy to daily management
LUMINA plans, builds and manages the brand's Meta ads on Instagram and Facebook, and tells the client which products and seasons are selling.
What did LUMINA set up?
How the account is organised on Meta.
-
One always-on catalogue campaign
A single campaign shows the whole catalogue to shoppers across the UAE all year. It is the backbone of the account: 1,592 orders in 12 months at $2.13 each and a 13.3x return.
-
A campaign for each product season
Chestnuts, cherries, kaki, ashta and pistachio each get their own campaign when they are in season, with their own ads and budget. The best of them returned between 9.5x and 10.8x.
-
Occasions planned ahead
Ramadan, Christmas, Black Friday and back to school each run as a short campaign with gift boxes and bundles made for that moment. Ramadan returned 8.2x and Christmas 9.1x.
-
Subscriptions sold as their own product
A back-to-school subscription box was given its own campaign. It returned 14.8x on 174 orders, the highest return of any campaign that year.
-
Retargeting kept separate
People who visited or added to cart see a campaign of their own, so the budget for new customers never ends up on people who were already coming back. It returned 8.2x.
-
Advantage+ shopping for the product pushes
The seasonal product campaigns use Meta's Advantage+ shopping format, which lets Meta find the buyers for a single product across the UAE instead of relying on interest lists.

What made the difference?
Structure. One always-on campaign carries the catalogue all year, and everything seasonal gets its own campaign with its own budget, so a chestnut push in autumn or a Ramadan box in spring never takes money from the campaign that sells every day. The result is a return that has stayed above 8x in every month of 2026.
Questions brands ask before they start
